Our Story

How it began

Ours is a story that began with a beautiful arranged marriage proposal, lovingly brought together by our families. Although miles apart—Salma working in Saudi Arabia and Athul in Malta—we first met through video calls. Every conversation made us feel a little closer, even before we met in person. Our first meeting happened in Kottayam, where we had gone to attend our pre-marriage class. On a cool, peaceful morning at 5:00 AM, after Salma's overnight bus journey from Kasaragod, Athul was waiting at the bus stop with a smile. That quiet sunrise, the fresh morning breeze, and the joy of finally meeting made it a moment we'll always cherish. What started with our families' blessings soon became a journey of friendship, love, and togetherness—and now, we're excited to begin the rest of our lives as one.
