Terms of Service
These terms cover what you can do with Varumo, what we promise (and don't promise), how payments and refunds work, and how either of us can end the relationship. Plain English, no surprises buried in fine print.
Effective: 2026-05-06
1. Who we are, who you are
"Varumo", "we", "us", or "our" means the team running varumo.com. "You" means the person who creates an account or pays for a site. Where this page says "the service" we mean every part of varumo.com — the website builder, the public invitation pages we host for you, and any companion tools.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to create an account, or have a parent / guardian set it up for you.
- Keep your password to yourself. We can't recover work lost because someone else got into your account.
- We'll never email you asking for your password. If anyone does, it's not us.
3. What you can build
You can use Varumo to publish wedding, engagement, anniversary, birthday, and similar private celebration invitations. You can collect RSVPs from your guests, share photos, and link to gift registries. See the Acceptable Use Policy for what's off-limits — short version: nothing illegal, nothing impersonating someone else, nothing that would scare grandma.
4. Drafts, plans, and publishing
Free accounts can build drafts but those drafts aren't visible to guests. To make a site public you choose a paid plan and pay through Razorpay. We process the payment, mark your site published, and start the plan timer.
- Each user can keep up to 10 unpublished drafts at a time.
- Drafts you don't open for 30 days get cleaned up so the URL is free for someone else.
- Paid sites stay live for the duration of the plan you bought. When the plan ends we keep them in a 15-day grace window — you can renew during that window. After 15 days the site (including RSVPs and photos) is permanently deleted.
5. Payments
Payments are handled by Razorpay. Varumo never sees or stores your card number, UPI VPA, or bank credentials — Razorpay does that, and they're certified for it. Prices on the pricing page are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for when refunds are available and how to ask for one.
6. Your content stays yours
You own everything you upload — your story, photos, names, dates, guest list. By uploading it, you give us a non-exclusive license to store, display, and serve it as part of running your site. That license ends when you delete the content or your site.
We won't sell, share, or train AI models on your content. See the Privacy Policy for the full data story.
7. Our content stays ours
The Varumo logo, the templates, the code that runs the service, and the visual design are ours. You can use templates as part of your invitation site (that's the point), but you can't extract them or re-publish them as your own service.
8. What we promise
We aim for high availability — no service is perfect, but we try not to break the day before your wedding. If we go down, we'll work to fix it as fast as we can and we'll communicate honestly while we do.
We back up data daily. If a meteor hits Mumbai we can probably restore things from yesterday.
9. What we can't promise
Beyond the refund policy, Varumo is provided "as is". We can't guarantee that every guest's email provider will deliver our RSVP notifications, or that every browser old enough to have been on the market in 2014 will render our templates correctly. If something important breaks for your event, contact us — we'll make it right when we can.
Our liability for any claim arising from your use of Varumo is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Ending the relationship
You can delete your account any time from the dashboard or by emailing us. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy — we'll always explain why and give you a chance to fix it where the issue is fixable.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we'll email anyone with an active paid plan and post a notice on the site at least 14 days before the new version takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new version. If you don't, you can delete your account — we'll refund any unused paid time on a pro-rata basis.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that can't be resolved by email goes to the courts of the city where Varumo is registered.
13. Contact
Email info@varumo.com. We usually reply within one business day. Office address and the legal entity's name are on the Contact page.
